The bride walked down the aisle with her mum, wiped away a tear as she reached her groom, and laughed her way through every reading. An autumn wedding in a candlelit stone barn, with all the warmth of a Cotswold weekend around it.

Stone Barn is a private 18th-century Cotswold barn in a quiet valley on the Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire border. Inside, exposed stone, timber beams, iron chandeliers and candles give soft, intimate light for the ceremony and dinner. Outside, dry stone walls and quiet lanes make relaxed portraits easy.
We started the weekend at a cosy pub with friends, wandered through Bibury the next morning, and then the wedding day itself was pure Cotswolds: golden leaves, autumn flowers and a barn full of people who adore these two.
Some of my favourite photographs are the quiet ones out in the fields: the groom holding his bride close against a dry stone wall, both of them laughing at something only they heard. Back in the barn the bride gave her own speech, the bridesmaids twirled around her in blush pink and the bouquet flew across a packed dance floor.
This gallery shows an autumn wedding at Stone Barn by Cripps & Co in the Cotswolds, England, photographed by AlbumWeddings, a destination wedding photographer based in Slovenia who works across the UK and Europe. It covers a welcome evening in a Cotswold pub, getting ready in a cottage, a candlelit ceremony in the barn, confetti, portraits along country lanes and dry stone walls, speeches and the first dance.
Yes. I travel to the UK for weddings, including the Cotswolds, Kent and Scotland. Travel is quoted simply and clearly.
We plan covered alternatives before the day. The barn interiors and doorways have beautiful light, so a rainy day still gives a full, varied gallery.
Yes, and I really recommend it. Welcome drinks are relaxed, everyone is happy to see each other, and it adds a lovely first chapter to your album.
