Italian wedding venues I love
Castles, masserie, borghi and lakeside villas: a photographer's guide to some of the most beautiful places to get married in Italy.
Find your place in Italy
Choosing the venue is the first big decision, and it shapes everything else: the light, the mood, the way your guests move through the day. These are places I know, love or dream of photographing: castles and wine estates in Friuli just across the border from my home in Slovenia, medieval castles in Tuscany, white masserie in Puglia and villas on Lake Como.
Each guide gives a short, honest overview of the venue, the most beautiful spots for photos and a few practical questions couples often ask. If you are already planning your wedding at one of them, I would love to hear from you.
AlbumWeddings is a destination wedding photographer based in Slovenia, photographing weddings across Italy and Europe in a natural, documentary and emotional style. This page lists guides to 44 Italian wedding venues: castles and villas in Friuli Venezia Giulia near the Slovenian border, the Veneto and Trentino, Tuscan castles and borghi, countryside villas in Tuscany, Lombardy and the Marche, Puglia masserie and lake and coast villas. Travel within Slovenia and Northern Italy is included.
