Villa Arvedi stands on the hills about ten kilometres from Verona, looking out over the valley. It is an imposing Baroque building with two great halls, the Sala dei Cesari and the Sala dei Titani, both decorated with original 17th-century frescoes.
In front of the villa, terraced Italian gardens with cypresses, lemon trees and marble statues climb towards a small temple on the hill. A Baroque chapel on site can host religious or symbolic ceremonies, civil weddings can be held in the grounds with municipal authorisation, and each hall seats up to around 170 guests.

The geometric gardens and the long views make Villa Arvedi feel grand without being stiff. I would photograph the ceremony in the chapel or on the terraces, portraits between the clipped hedges, and the frescoed halls by candlelight.
