Villa Pazzi al Parugiano stands in Bagnolo, part of Montemurlo near Prato, about half an hour from Florence. It is a Renaissance country palace that belonged to the Pazzi family, famous for their conspiracy against the Medici, who kept it until 1935; it was later bought by the architect Adolfo Coppedè.
A room once used by Saint Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi was turned into a chapel and frescoed by the Flemish painter Stradanus between 1585 and 1587. The villa is privately owned and is rented for cultural events and celebrations.
Photographing your wedding here
Renaissance stone, a frescoed chapel and the hills behind Prato: the villa has a quiet, authentic Tuscan feeling. I would photograph the ceremony and then take you outside for portraits in the soft evening light over the plain.
