Castiglion del Bosco is one of the oldest and best-preserved estates in Tuscany, spread over around 5,000 acres in the Brunello di Montalcino area. Created by Massimo and Chiara Ferragamo and run by Rosewood, it combines a medieval borgo, castle ruins and a historic Brunello winery.

There are wonderful places to say yes: the little medieval church of San Michele Arcangelo with frescoes by Pietro Lorenzetti, the castle ruins, the village piazzetta and the vineyards. Private stone villas with pools are lovely for more intimate celebrations.

The castle ruins at sunset are unforgettable, and the vineyards give you that endless golden Val d'Orcia feeling. I would also love to photograph quiet, intimate moments in the frescoed church before the party begins.
