Menorca is the quietest of the Balearic Islands, with white villages, little churches, olive groves and turquoise coves. It’s perfect for couples who want an intimate wedding with family and close friends rather than a big production.
With their daughter in their arms for most of the day, their portraits were never really posed. We walked, laughed and let her lead the way, and the photographs show exactly how it felt.
The groom carried their daughter for half the day, in his arms or in a baby carrier, and kept stopping to kiss the top of her head. Nobody was in a hurry: a gentle priest, grandparents in bright colours, laughter in the courtyard and a slow boat ride across the bay to finish.
